Israel ETA (IL ETA) is an electronic travel authorization granting tourists, businesspeople, or other eligible visitors traveling for non-work and non-medical purposes legal entry and stay in Israel for a specific period.
The validity of the IL ETA is 2 years of issue or until the applicant's passport expires – whichever comes first.
During this period, travelers can enter Israel multiple times. Each visit can last up to 90 days or less.
To apply, it is necessary to complete a short online form, provide a copy of a valid passport, and cover the fee. At Passporta, our specialists check the customer's application to ensure it meets the requirements.
Israel's ETA is processed within 72 hours. The IL ETA confirmation is sent as a PDF document to the traveler's email address.
With Passporta, you can be sure that the Israel ETA application process is safe and straightforward.
By choosing Passporta, you can easily get your Israel ETA and focus on the trip while we handle the formalities!

You can find out the requirements for your nationality by using our checker tool. It is user-friendly, quick, and available online at the top of the website.
The Israel ETA application requires providing certain documentation – a passport from a visa-free country valid for at least 6 months from arrival in Israel.
The passport must be uploaded digitally, so travelers should prepare a copy by scanning it or using a smartphone camera.
Eligible travelers can apply for an Israel ETA with Passporta in an easy and straightforward way online.
Once you take your working electronic device with internet access, follow the instructions below:
The approved Israel ETA will come in a PDF form. Applicants receive the document via email. Don't forget to check the spam/junk folder.
The IL ETA stays valid for up to 2 years or until the passport linked to the authorization expires – whichever comes first.
While the ETA remains effective, travelers can enter Israel an unlimited number of times. A visit cannot exceed 90 days (3 months).
IMPORTANT: The IL ETA is digitally connected to the applicant's passport. This means that any changes in passport information (e.g., in name, gender, or country of citizenship) will make the associated ETA invalid.
Usually, the applications for Israeli electronic travel authorization are approved quickly, within 72 hours.
The time can be prolonged in case of a significant volume of applications in the system, technical issues, or errors/blanks in the form.
To avoid problems, double-check your details and apply beforehand. In case of any questions, feel free to contact the Passporta support team.
This is what an approved Israel ETA will look like upon being delivered to the traveler's email:

The reasons for rejection are usually the same and include:
Before submitting the application, review the common reasons behind the denials and make sure you didn't make any of them. Passporta experts also check the information to maximize the chance of approval.
If denied, you'll be directed to apply for a traditional visa at an Israeli embassy.
