Also, the application for a New Zealand eTA involves uploading the following documents:

  • Eligible passport (with at least 3 months of validity; some airlines might require 6 months, so check beforehand)
  • Applicant's face photo (recent and formal)

What is the New Zealand eTA?

New Zealand eTA is an official electronic travel authorization allowing eligible visitors legal entry into New Zealand for tourism, business, or transit.

The NZeTA stays valid for 2 years from approval, granting numerous entries into the country.

The allowed stay is 6 months within a 12-month period. However, each visit cannot be longer than 3 months (or 6 months if a visitor is a British citizen).

To apply, a traveler must meet the requirements and complete a simple application by entering the necessary information into the form, attaching documentation, and making the payment.

Passporta makes procedures stress-free by providing support on every step of the application and verifying the information before submitting it to authorities.

The eTA for New Zealand is usually approved within 72 hours and delivered to the applicant's email address.
